This is a part-time (15 hours a week) Contract with a tentative start date of May 28, 2013 and end date of Aug 30, 2013.
Note: Carson City, Nevada – ~ 15 hours a week (on-site only)
Job Summary
The goal of the our client (Health Government related) is to develop, pilot and implement a secured background check website which agencies and providers licensed, would be able to access from any computer or mobile device with internet access. This need is for a Quality Assurance/Tester.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
·Have experience testing web-based applications.
·Experience in creating, planning and implementing test cases.
·Experience with functional, system, regression and performance testing.
·Experience documenting test findings.
·Have experience with full test lifecycle of the software development process.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED
·Experience in Microsoft Products including MS Visio, MS Project, Word, Excel
·Familiarity with relations databases like MSSQL Server
·Familiarity with ASP.Net
·At least three (3) years of working experience as a software application tester
* Government work experience desired
·Preferably have experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
·Understanding of software engineering and web development
