BAAN ERP Programmer Analyst with Warehouse, Distribution and Shipping for our direct client in Burbank, CA area. This is a 6-12 month contract assignment with a start date of ASAP.
The BAAN ERP Programmer Analyst will be working on a Warehouse, Distribution and Shipping project (Bill of Materials, Order Entry, Inventory, etc.)
- The work site is conveniently located off the 405/10 freeways in the Los Angeles (Fairfax) area.
- Flexible hours, but NO telecommuting for the first 6 months
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of Baan implementation and/or support experience.
Job Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Baan ERP software application
- Demonstrated ability in effectively managing multiple tasks and working under deadlines
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes business needs and configures software applications to best meet the business requirements
- Identifies and recommends business processes that would benefit from software application solutions.
- Prepares functional specifications and works with technical analysts to configure and/or develop required functionality.
- Oversees integrity of company core models and maintains detailed documentation.
- Works with management and users to monitor continued applicability and effectiveness of business models.
- Complies with established standards, processes and procedures within the company.
- Provides training on the company core models.
- Communicate complex technology application issues clearly to non-technical parties orally or in writing
- Effectively communicate business needs to technical staff verbally and in writing through technical specifications.
- Analyze complex user issues, evaluate alternatives and devise efficient cost-effective, user-friendly solutions.
- Provides expertise as needed in one or more of the core areas: Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
