Requirement Details:

 

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for the Salem Oregon area to support customers that have needs 24 hours a day and seven days a week. This position will support Enterprise Oracle databases running on IBM AIX.

 

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

 

Oracle Database Administrator - at least 6-8 years highly desired.

Oracle DBA in an IBM AIX environment

Oracle DBA in a UNIX environment

Installing and patching Oracle Database in UNIX environment

Handling system performance issues or system crashes

Design, test and install new installs to the Oracle Database

Installing and upgrading Oracle Web Logic

Ability to perform OAS to Web Logic conversions

Strong experience in a data center environment
