Dil ayesaa kisee ne meraa todaa
barabaadee kee taraf ayesaa modaa
 
yek bhale maanush ko
amaanush banaa ke chhodaa

saagar kitanaa mere paas hai
mere jeewan mein fir bhee pyaas hai

hai pyaas badee jeewan thodaa
amaanush banaa ke chhodaa

kahate hain ye duniyaan ke raasate
 koee manjil naheen tere waasate

naakamiyon se naataa meraa jodaa
amaanush banaa ke chhodaa

doobaa sooraj fir se nikale
rahataa naheen hain andheraa

meraa sooraj ayesaa ruthhaa
dekhaa n maine sawere
 
ujaalon ne saath meraa chhodaa
amaanush banaa ke chhodaa
