Bourntec is currently seeking Senior .NET Developer to join our client team in Columbus, IN.
Position: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Columbus, IN
Length: 1 year with extension
Senior .NET Developer
Responsibilities:
Senior software developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's Microsoft .NET applications infrastructure. The developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining .NET solutions that integrate with the company's ERP systems.
· Work as a part of the overall IT development team with specific tasks assigned according to the technology utilized.
· Implement strong Object Oriented design principles, data modeling skills, and best practices standards.
· The developer will work directly with business users on requirements and documents functional specifications.
· Proactively communicates with the development, QA teams and management to anticipate configuration management issues/processes
· Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes
· Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork
Notes:
· A few custom .Net apps, enhancements, maintenance, care & feeding
o Some Integration Work
· Small Team (2) so a well-rounded person is best. Wear Multiple Hats.
· This Person report to a PM
· Version is almost always the Newest
· C# is the main language, but VB would be helpful because no one has these skills
· Web Apps, not Desktop
Qualifications / Requirements:
· 7-8 years experience analyzing, designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft .NET or related technologies or 10 years total experience and a Bachelor's degree in related field
· 7-8 years' experience with multiple programming technologies, including Windows and Web(Site, Forms, MVC) development, high level of proficiency with the Microsoft development tools (AJAX, JQuery, CLR 3.5-4.5, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, MVC, REST and Web Services, etc.)
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Proficient using Visual Studio versions 2008 to 2012
· Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions
· Experience with application security design utilizing single sign-on and role based schemes
· Strong knowledge of industry used application servers, PKI, WS-Security, SAML and various web services standards are a plus
Professional Certifications Preferred:
· Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
Education:
· Bachelor's Degree in a complimentary discipline required, Master Degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred
