Position     : Network Engineer

Location    : Scottsdale , Arizona

Duration   : 6 Months

 

Responsibilities Include:

Design and build cutting-edge, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions to support growth.

Monitor and maintain performance & installations to ensure maximum efficiency and operational uptime.

Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for on-going design efforts and systems support.

Design, build, & support wireless solutions for a variety of locations.

Design, build, & support meshed MPLS / Frame-Relay connectivity for all Customer Service locations.

This position participates in an on call rotation with the other engineers.

 

Required Qualifications:

This position requires a broad engineering background as you will be working with a variety of technologies to deliver best of breed DATA service to client and customers worldwide. Other qualifications include the following:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in a technical field or relevant work experience.

5+ years of Network administration experience.

Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.

Hands-on experience over F5 Load Balancers  -- MUST

In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; BGP, OSPF, etc

In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms; specifically with Cisco.

Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.

Professional written and verbal communication skills (English required, local dialects a plus).

Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Expertise in a majority of the following technologies and protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, SIP, RTP, IP, TCP (internals and flow control), T1/E1, Ethernet, IPv6, IVPN & VPN, firewalls, wireless (802.11X & WiMax), & IT security best practices.

Knowledge on Cisco and CheckPoint Firewalls (CheckPoint Preferred) – MUST

Knowledge on VPN -- MUST

 

Highly Desired Qualifications:

Intimate knowledge of local region connectivity providers & regulations.

Displays maturity in interfacing with Customer Stakeholders face to face and over the phone during high intensity troubleshooting incidents.

Experience in lab-testing & certification of networking devices.

Experience working with carriers to provision, install, and operate data networks.

Experience managing complex technical projects

 

Certifications:

CCNA or CCNA – Security or CCDA

CCNP, CCSA, CCIE -Written

 

P.S. :

Need  hands on LB & Security. Probably, people with datacenter exposure will help to narrow our search.
