Description

We have a 6-month contract opening for a Java Developer with web services (WS) and service oriented architecture (SOA) experience.  The Developer will implement Java-based SOA and web based projects using JSF. This contract may extend or convert to permanent employment after the initial 6-month period.

Required Skills

·         Minimum of five (5) years experience using J2EE, JDBC, and SQL.

·         Minimum of two years using NetBeans or Eclipse.

·         Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and in small project teams.

·         Experience using Apache Tomcat

·         Experience using Oracle Service Bus

·         Minimum of two (2) years experience implementing web services in a SOA, specifically JAX-WS, WSDL, SOAP.

 

Preferred Skills

·         Experience implementing WS-security.

·         Experience using XML (XML Schema, XSLT) and XML Spy/Stylus Studio or Oxygen

·         Experience using UML preferred.

·         Experience working with relational databases

·         Experience working with Object Relational Mapping Technology (ORM), such as Hibernate

·         Experience with JSF and Spring

 

Education Requirements

Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

 

Travel Requirements

On rare occasion,travel to client location maybe required.
