How many of you have faced difficulties with your colleagues? Well, almost everyone has gone through such situation working with difficult co workers. Workplace is the place where you have to spend most of your times and more than your family and friends, we spend more times with our co workers. We can choose our friends and job, but we cannot choose our colleagues, and if you are not lucky enough you have to bear such irritating colleagues, reports Forbes.

 

Here are some types of colleagues we found in every workplace

 

The Big Mouth

 

 

'There's a difference between working with friends and making friends with the people you work with,' says Julia Somerfield, TODAY's senior editor. Moreover it's very hard to trust our colleagues especially who has a habit of talk so much. They tend to spread your secrets to others easily. It's better to keep your personal issues with you than to share with your big mouth colleague, or else it could be worse than posting on social network.

 

The Betrayer

 

 

We may find many colleagues who can backstab at any time by not taking the blame for their own mistakes. Betrayal of colleagues can destroy relationships of the co-workers and job performance can also suffer. Be careful of such colleagues and try to keep yourself in a safe position.

 

The Critic

 

 

Whenever you have done a good job, this type of co worker finds faults in everything. Moreover they try to interfere whatever you are doing and you cannot have a private conversation without them ending up in it. This type of persons has an opinion on everything and loves to tell you how to do your job better. Avoid them and say whatever you do not like firmly.

 

The Rival

 

 

Competition is common in every workplace. But it's acceptable only till it's a healthy competition among employees. But some colleagues make things so complicated being w ay too competitive, which seems like the biggest workplace threat. They see every co-worker as a rival. Do not leave open to such colleagues when you are competing for the same promotion.

 

The Cheapskate

 

 

This type of colleagues can be headache for everybody. How many of you have faced the situation like you go for lunch together and always you end up paying the bills? Or how many times you have lend money to your colleagues and never got back? These types of people are too cheap to buy their own food. Be blunt to these people and let them understand that you understand their tricks.
