Position:
Senior Engineer/Project Leader/Consultant.
Location: Bangalore

Job Profile & Responsibilities:

The person will be responsible for:

1.      Gathering client requirement, proposing possible solutions, performing end to end proof of concept.

2.      Proof of concept will involve end to end installation and presentation of targeted products and features.

3.      Manage target sites till they are transitioned to Services/Support teams.

4.      Initiate in meetings, calls and webex to achieve a favorable solution.

5.      Working closely with sales, pre-sales and product house.

6.      Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of targeted products.

7.    Troubleshoot or guide team members to troubleshoot on issues related to OS, networking, security, Telecom etc.

Desired knowledge:
-Great communication (Written and Verbal) skill
-Software specific working knowledge required of the following: Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems 2000, 2003, 2008, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project.
-Special consideration for MCSE/MCSA or Formal Training with Avaya, Nortel, or Aspect phone switches.
-Experience working with voice and data networks in the capacity of design, implementation or project management.
-Experience in managing related application consulting engagements a plus.
-Thorough knowledge of CTI and telephony applications, PBX switches, ACD, IVR and Microsoft Software applications.
-Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with strong leadership skills to work with all levels and disciplines in a global setting.
-PMP or CAPM or ITIL a plus.

Must have TECHNICAL ABILITIES:
Extensive understanding in various Microsoft technologies and environments like:
-Windows Operating systems, IIS, MS SQL 2000/ 2005 Admin, Active directory.

Educational Qualification:
- BE/BTech, BCA,MCA, BSc, MSc from a recognized university in Computer Science/IT.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the related fields.

Additional desirable knowledge areas:
-Networking and network protocols
-Security
-Switches
-CTI and Telephony
-Microsoft debugging tools
