[Lovers India] Urgent requirement for **** BO Admin **** at Tampa, FL *******

I have an immediate requirement with my client at Tampa, FL.

Position:        BO Admin

Location:       Tampa, FL

Duration:       6 months

 

Please find JD for the Business Objects admin position -

 

              Business Objects Administration for a large estate having multiple servers ( preferable UNIX platform) with load balancing, clustering implemented and having interface to multiple applications

              Having sound knowledge in BO product suite (Releases available, advantages and pitfalls in release and having over site on fixes)

              Having sound knowledge in Capacity planning and usage of tools (should be able to guide and decide the sizing of environments as per product recommendations)

              Having sound knowledge on audit reviewing, advanced troubleshooting and experience to provide solutions (or) suggest solutions quickly without depending on SAP

              BO XI 4.0 Upgrade and BO Xcelcius usage

              Worked with US clients and exposed to Global Delivery Models

              Having good knowledge in Overall architecture (different technologies interfaced with BO like People Soft, LDAP, Web Sphere/WL, AIX/SOLARIS admin skills, Scripting knowledge and other Middleware technologies overview)

 

 

The following are the areas where we need the candidates to be experienced in BO admin area –

 

1. XIR3/SP3 installation and configuration, integration of the 3rd party tools PSFT kit and LDAP. Troubleshooting issues with installation.

2. Web sphere/Web logic domain/cell creation and configuration. War/ear files deployments + troubleshooting

3. IHS integration (with SSO) and web-bank sso integration.

4. Performance tuning reported during slowness of the environment

5. Capacity sizing of the hardware and file systems for any new on-boarding apps

6. Trouble shooting of webi crash issues by enabling various levels of logs

7. Troubleshooting issues with users entitlements

8. Major content migrations from R2 – R3 which we normally term as cut overs

9. Up gradation of patches (fp36/lafix etc)

10. Sherlock implementation

11. Probes mechanism.

12. LCM configuration.
