Position: Business Analyst_ 52942000129789

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 3+ Months

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Required Skills:

· 5 years of experience with support a project team in the Information Technology industry demonstrating excellent oral and written communications skills.

· 5 years of experience with the following MS Office products: Word, Excel (including pivot tables, charts, graphs), and MS PowerPoint

· 3 years of experience in demonstrated ability to communicate successfully with technical and non-technical groups to facilitate the coordination of project activities.

· 3 years of experience in creating and maintaining project documentation, PMLC and SDLC documentation.

· 2 years of experience in developing and distributing stakeholder communications.

· 2 years of experience in documenting complex and abstract information as it is being discussed.

· 2 years of experience with the following MS Office products: MS Project (creating work plans) and MS PowerPoint (developing or maintaining systems).

· 1 year of experience in with MS Outlook.

· 1 year of experience in designing and creating process flow diagrams and other graphical diagrams using Microsoft Office Visio.

· 1 year of experience with developing workflow and/or data management processes flow using modeling and mapping tools.

· Strong multi-tasking skills involving the specific ability to work on multiple projects or project assignments.

· Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail in all aspects of assignments.

· Strong adherence to deadlines and excellent punctuality.

· Ability to perform research under tight deadlines and prepare reports of findings tailored to the intended audience.

Preferences:

· 1 year of Experience maintaining SharePoint website. Include modifying site layout, user administration, and content management.

· Strong sense of team loyalty.

· Ability to network throughout the organization and develop relationships above and across hierarchies and functional divisions.

· Sensitivity to the status and priorities of the stakeholders from whom the program requires support.

Position: SAP ECC HR Specialist

Location : Bellevue, WA

Duration: 6 Months +

Start Date: Immediate

· Responsible for configuration of SAP ECC Mini Masters Environment and HR

· Capture detailed user requirements, articulate into a functional design, and perform configuration in SAP

· Analyze issues, evaluate options, recommend workflow or procedural solutions, configure SAP or other HCM software, and test solutions.

· Provide training/documentation to business process support teams

· Act as liaison between the business and technical developers (ABAP, PI, BW) for incident support

· Work to understand business needs and requirements to translate into a form that leads to creation and/or composition of better solutions

· Assist in development of SAP documentation, online help, training material, and quick reference guides

· Assist in delivery of SAP training when necessary

· Provide one-on-one training and assistance to end users

Position: PeopleSoft HCM TAM Specialist (Techno – Functional Role)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 6+ Months

General Duties/Tasks:

Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle.
Work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and testing
Assist clients in fully integrating the PeopleSoft system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices
Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
Configure the PeopleSoft system to meet each client
Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Report progress to clients and project managers
Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions
Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

Required PeopleSoft Skills:

Minimum of five years PeopleSoft experience
Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2
Upgrade and implementation experience
Ability to work on all project phases
Solid understanding of setup tables and reporting
Solid understanding of integration of all modules
Solid understanding of processing requirements for module in which candidate has expertise
Expert knowledge in Core HR and TAM
Experience with Compensation and ePerformance a plus
Proven business knowledge as well as PeopleSoft specific functional knowledge

Leadership Skills:

Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and client expectations
Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution

Consulting Skills:

Clear and effective communication
Consistently produce clear, concise status reports
Builds confidence and trust with clients

[Lovers India] Socrates - Triple Filter

In ancient Greece , Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem. One day an acquaintance met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"

"Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before telling me anything I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test."

"Triple filter?"

"That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the triple filter test.

The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"

"No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and."

"All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second filter, the filter of goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?"

"No, on the contrary..."

"So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, but you're not certain it's true. You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left: the filter of usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?"

"No not really …"

"Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?"

This is why Socrates was a great philosopher held in such high esteem.
